General Terms and Conditions for Promotions by Opportunities Workshop

These terms also cover promotions organised by the company under our Pitman Training or Melius brands.

Please read these carefully before participating in any promotions organised by Opportunities Workshop. By participating in any promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Eligibility.

Promotions are open to adult individuals aged 18 or over who meet the eligibility criteria specified in each promotion’s terms.

To ensure fairness, our employees, their families and anyone else directly associated with our business and the promotion are not eligible to participate.

Promotional Periods

Applicable time restrictions will be clearly stated in each promotion. Apply outside of the promotional period and we won’t be able to consider your entry.

Entry

Entry instructions for each promotion will be clearly stated in the promotional materials. To be considered you will need to comply with the specified instructions. Entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, or incomplete, will not be considered.

Winners

The selection process will be fair and unbiased, with any selection criteria explicit in the terms of each promotion. Our decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

Prizes

Prizes for each promotion will be clearly stated in the promotional materials. They’re intended to benefit entrant only, so can’t be transferred to other people, exchanged for anything else and have no resale value.

We’ll try not to do this but reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without prior notice.

Winners will be solely responsible for any expenses or taxes incurred from accepting and using the prize.

Publicity and Personal Data

We want to share your good fortune. By participating in the promotions, you agree to the use of your name, image, and any other relevant details for promotional and marketing purposes, as reasonably required by Opportunities Workshop.

Any personal data provided by participants will be used solely in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Legal Stuff

There are some boundaries to our obligations to each other arising from your participation in any promotion that we operate. For the avoidance of doubt:

Opportunities Workshop, their employees, agents, and contractors shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or disappointment suffered by participants because of their participation in the promotions.

We do not guarantee the availability, accessibility, or continuity of any website, platform, or system used for the promotions.

All promotions offered by Opportunities Workshop Ltd acting as Pitman Training are only valid for locations operated by the company.

We are only liable for the promotions they explicitly communicate.

Sometimes thing change for reasons beyond our control. We reserve the right to amend or cancel any promotion without prior notice, in exceptional circumstances or where it becomes necessary to do so. Should this happen, we will notify participants as soon as reasonably possible.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales.

If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the rest of these terms shall remain valid.

These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the participants and Opportunities Workshop Ltd with respect to promotions operated by the company and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and representations.

Summer School 2023

Students enrolling on a diploma programme at one of our Pitman Training locations between 1^st June 2023 and 31^st July 2023, are entitled to 15 months study to complete their programmes rather than our regular 12-month duration so that your holiday plans don’t impact your study programme.

Students joining this promotion must complete enrolment and payment of applicable tuition fees by 31^st July 2023, and will be enrolled until 30^th September 2024.

Corporate Course Credits

Corporate clients may purchase discounted course credit bundles which may be redeemed by their employees for future study.

Details of credit volume, applicable courses and ordering processes will be detailed in your agreement with the company at the point of purchase.

Use it or lose it. Credits are available for 12 months from issue. Unused credits will expire after this time.
