Anti Bribery

Introduction : In response to Bribery Act 2010 Opportunities Workshop has developed a clear Policy Statement & framework which incorporates an Anti-Bribery policy and procedures for the prevention of bribery and corruption.  The policy applies to all individuals working at all levels and grades, including all training and delivery staff, senior managers, officers, directors, employees (whether permanent, fixed-term or temporary), consultants, contractors, apprentices/trainees, casual associated staff, volunteers, agents, or any other person acting on behalf of Opportunities Workshop.

The Company will seek to ensure that its bribery prevention policies and procedures are embedded and understood throughout the organisation through communication and training to staff and third parties acting on the Company’s behalf. The level of communication and training will be proportionate to the risk faced by the individual.

Anti-Bribery Policy Statement : Opportunities Workshop values its reputation for ethical behaviour and for financial probity and reliability and has a zero tolerance policy towards bribery.  Opportunities Workshop prohibits the offering, the giving, the solicitation or the acceptance of any bribe, whether cash or other inducement, to or from any person or company, public or private, by any governors, staff, contractors, consultants, agents, overseas agents, external examiners and any non-employee service providers engaged on Company business for whatever reason, in order to gain any commercial, contractual or regulatory advantage for Opportunities Workshop in a way which is unethical or in order to gain any personal advantage, pecuniary or otherwise, for the individual or anyone connected with the individual.

Modern Slavery

Anti Slavery Policy Statement: Opportunities Workshop is committed to ensuring that it, its employees, directors, contractors and sub-contractors comply with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, as well as all other applicable laws in respect of slavery and human trafficking. This policy statement is to be construed as a transparency statement under Section 54 of the UK’s Modern Slavery Act 2015. 

Opportunities Workshop is headquartered in the UK, and the majority of its business is carried out in the UK.  Opportunities Workshop will not accept slavery within its organisation nor within its supply chain.  Directors, Staff and contractors are obliged to comply with anti-slavery and human trafficking legislation as part of Opportunities Workshop’s commitment to ensure legal compliance, with obligations set out in applicable handbooks and contracts with third parties.  Opportunities Workshop operates a preferred supplier list for its key suppliers pursuant to which suppliers are obliged to confirm compliance with applicable laws, which include the Modern Slavery Act.  Opportunities Workshop also takes practical steps to ensure compliance with the Act, including identity checks in respect of all individuals wishing to provide services via Opportunities Workshop.

All Opportunities Workshop employees receive training on all staff policies which include all matters of conduct and fair employment practices. Staff are encouraged to seek guidance from managers or legal advisors if they have any concerns, and to report all incidents in a timely manner.


Opportunities Workshop maintains procedures and practices which safeguard and promote the wellbeing of all its learners by identifying and applying best practice within the sector and ensuring that the Learner Safeguarding Policy and Procedures comply with legislative requirements and government recommendations.


Opportunities Workshop is obliged as an organisation to protect the integrity and confidentiality of personal data held by us with regard to our clients and employees. We take a very serious view of our responsibilities to comply with the data protection principles.
